Building on the success of the updated Shield M2.0 and the quality of Smith & Wesson Performance Center products, the new Performance Center Ported M&P Shield M2.0 is packed with features that are designed to make a great gun even greater.

“When we launched the Ported M&P Shield in 2015, it was an instant success,” said Tony Miele, General Manager of the Smith and Wesson Performance Center. “While the popularity of the M2.0 platform continued to expand, we knew we needed to develop a Performance Center pistol with M2.0 enhancements, and the M&P Shield felt like the natural place to start. This new pistol features a ported barrel and slide direct from the factory, as well as all of the M2.0 enhancements and multiple sight options: a home run for every day carry.”

Other features of the new Performance Center Ported M&P Shield M2.0 include:

  • Performance Center enhanced trigger for a crisp, light trigger pull
  • M&P’s patented take-down lever and sear deactivation systems for disassembly without pulling the trigger
  • Ported barrel and slide for reduced muzzle flip
  • HI-VIZ Fiber Optic Sights or Tritium Night Sights for fast sight acquisition in a varying light conditions

In addition to the factory-ported barrel and slide, which allow for reduced muzzle flip and faster, more accurate follow up shots, the Performance Center Ported M&P Shield M2. features an aggressive grip texture for a more secure grip on your pistol and front slide serrations for easier slide manipulations.

When fitted with HI-VIZ fiber optic sights, the MSRP for the Performance Center Ported M&P Shield M2 is $539, and if you prefer tritium night sights instead, the MSRP will be $623.
