Aimed at the ever-increasing number of prepared individuals who put together duty-ready EDC kits, Gerber introduced its Kettlebell folding knife. This all-new design is purpose-built to provide consumers with a compact tool designed to handle rugged conditions and do it all.

Overall, the small size of the Gerber Kettlebell folding knife enables it to be easily carried inside a pocket or in a pack, and the short overall length of the blade ensures it can be deployed discreetly for use in a range of environments. Unlike many other pocket folders, the Kettlebell is constructed with an all-metal design, featuring a blade constructed from 7Cr17MoV steel, a unique variant of the ever-popular 440A stainless steel used in many modern-day utilitarian tools. The heightened Vanadium content found in 7Cr17MoV ensures the blade has extra strength versus other similiar-style blades and will hold an edge and resist wear, all without the added premium of other quality blade steels.

Additionally, the Kettlebell also features a coined-aluminum handle, which are available in two anodized color finishes: green or gray. The coined finish adds texture, providing enhanced grip during daily use. When deployed, an integrated frame lock keeps the blade locked into place, and a simple push with a thumb move the lock out of place and allows the blade to fold. Other features found on the blade include dual thumbstuds, allowing for easy opening with either hand. The knife also provides a dual finger choil, enabling users to have precision control over the fine-edged blade.

Each Gerber Kettlebell folding knife is built with a pocket clip oriented for tip-up carry and a lanyard hole built into the rear of the handle. The overall length of the blade is 2.5 inches, while the entire knife measures 6.2 inches when deployed. The suggested retail price on the Kettlebell is $27.
