The new CMMG Banshee lineup brings a collection of ultra-compact firearms in both NFA-regulated short-barreled rifles and AR-style pistols, all chambered in a number of popular calibers. The new platform is purpose-built to offer an easily handled, lightweight platform for a range of applications, including home defense, competition or general range use.

In total, eight different models are offered in the Banshee lineup, divided into four SBRs and four pistols. Each SBR/pistol pairing is offered in a different caliber, giving consumers the choice between 9 mm, .45 ACP, .300 BLK or .22 LR. Every CMMG Banshee in the lineup is equipped with the company's all-new ambidextrous charging handle, which is machined from 7075 aluminum and features an enlarged latch that easily clears larger mounted optics and can be easily manipulated with a user's support hand. Every model is also equipped with an ambidextrous sling plate and safety selector, as well as the company's RML M-Lok handguard and a Magpul MOE pistol grip.

The pistol-caliber CMMG Banshee SBRs are equipped with 5-inch, medium-taper threaded barrels machined from 4140 chrome-moly steel. The guns actions are built around the novel radial-delayed blowback action that debuted on the company's innovative MkG Guard pistol-caliber carbine. Like the Guard, these pistol-caliber models feed from Glock magazines and are equipped with single-stage mil-spec triggers, as well as the company's RML4 handguard.

Each pistol-caliber SBR is equipped with the company's new RipStock. This is an all-new retractable buttstock that incorporates the company's Fastback and P3 position-preset technology, enabling users to pull the stock straight back to a pre-set length for quick deployment. Non-NFA pistol versions of the Banshee are equipped with a Tailhook Mod 2 pistol-stabilizing brace. The overall length of the pistol-caliber Banshee SBRs is 20 inches with the stock collapsed. Weight on each model is caliber-specific, with 9 mm models weighing 4.8 pounds and .45 ACP models weighing 4.6 pounds.

Pistol and SBR models of the .300 BLK CMMG Banshee are outfitted with an 8-inch barrel with a 1:7-inch twist rate to optimize cartridge performance. The barrel features a medium taper and is machined from 4140 chrome-moly steel with a .750 gas-block journal. Each .300 BLK Banshee ships with a DefCan 3 flash hider compatible with the company's DefCan suppressor. Other features of the .300 BLK Banshee include an RML7 handguard and a single-stage mil-spec trigger. The gun ships with a 30-round Magpul Pmag and weighs 5.2 pounds.

Finally, CMMG's .22 LR Banshee models are built with a 4.5-inch medium-taper barrel machined from 4140 chrome-moly steel, topped with a 1/2-28 TPI threaded muzzle and completed with a KAK Slim Flash Can. The gun is equipped with an RML4 handguard, Magpul MOE pistol grip and a single-stage mils-spec trigger. Each rimfire Banshee ships with a CMMG 22ARC 25-round magazine and weighs in at 4.4 pounds.

The suggested retail price on the CMMG Banshee starts at $1,149.95 for both .22 LR models. The .300 BLK models retail at a suggested price of $1,449.95, while the pistol-caliber SBRs and pistols sell for $1,499.95.
