Built on the company's proven BA Chassis system, the all-new MasterPiece Arms MPA Micro Urban Tactical Rifle, chambered in .308 Win., is designed as a compact, easily transportable precision-rifle platform that provides users with a minimal footprint while preserving tack-driving accuracy.

The stand-out feature of the Micro Urban Tactical rifle is the company's MPA Light Weight Chassis System, which is CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum and built with a V-bedding setup that allows clearance for a glass-bedded action and a free-float barrel. Other elements of the chassis include an integrated inclinometer and thumb notch.

A Picatinny accessory rail is located on the bottom of the fore-end and is compatible with spigot mounts, which allow for bipods to be mounted further out than the edge of the rail. Users can also replace the rail with a sling-swivel stud, if desired.

One of the other highlights found on the aluminum chassis is the folding stock, which is fully adjustable for length of pull and comb height. When folded, the stock reduces the overall length of the rifle to as little as 23.5 inches with an SBR barrel measuring in at 12.75 inches. In addition, the interior of the aluminum folding stock is hollow, enabling users to store a suppressor measuring up to 1.5 inches wide and 8.5 inches in overall length.

The barrel on the MasterPiece Arms MPA Micro Urban Tactical Rifle is equipped with a No. 5-profile Spencer MPA barrel machined from 416RQ stainless steel. Each barrel is hand-lapped by one of the company's gunsmiths and inspected for quality using a video borescope before leaving the factory. Barrel twist rates measure 1:10-inch or 1:8-inch, depending on user preference. Muzzle are also threaded with a 5/8-24 TPI thread pitch, compatible with a wide aftermarket of muzzle devices and sound suppressors.

MasterPiece Arms guarantees that the chamber of each MUT Rifle is located to within 0.0001 inch or less of the bore. In addition, the spiral-fluted, Remington 700-style bolt is finished with a hardened DLC coating, hand-lapped and precision-fitted into the Curtis Custom action of each individual rifle. The action is also outfitted with a custom Trigger Tech trigger that leaves the factory with a consumer-specified trigger pull measuring anywhere between 1-3 pounds.

Each MasterPiece Arms MPA Micro Urban Tactical Rifle is compatible with AICS-pattern magazines, and a single five-round magazine is included with each gun. Since each rifle is built to customer specifications, custom caliber, barrel-length and finish options are available. The suggested retail price on the Micro Urban Tactical Rifle starts at $3,025.
