First Look: Tract Optics Toric 30 mm Long Range Riflescopes

Owners of long-range precision rifles now have new optics options to examine in 2018, thanks to the launch of Tract Optics Toric 30 mm Long Range Riflescopes. These new optics are part of the company's flagship line of scopes and are purpose-built to provide premium long-range performance at prices that everyday consumers can afford.

“We’re very excited for our new FFP 30 mm long range scopes to hit the market,” Tract Optics Co-Founder Jon LaCorte said. “The emergence of extreme long-range shooting and hunting make this a natural expansion to our line."

Two new optics are available in the company's new 30 mm lineup, both available in 4-20x50 mm configuration. The two models offer differing first-focal-plane reticles, one with an MOA option and the other with an MRAD setup. Each reticle is glass-etched into the lens. Paired up with these two reticle options are the company's Multi Rotation Zero Stop windage- and elevation-adjustment turrets with either 20 MOA or 10 MRAD of adjustment range per rotation, depending on the reticle system selected.

"We combined over 40 years of optics-industry experience to load these scopes up on features not available at these price points," LaCorte said. "Our 30 mm TORIC options give shooters and hunters premium glass with the best features and high-end capabilities. Whether they’re competing in the Precision Rifle Series (PRS) or practicing for long-range big game hunting, our scopes are the perfect option.”

In addition to the MOA/MRAD setup, the Tract Optics Toric 30 mm Long Range Riflescopes are built with the company's Ultra High Definition optics setup, which incorporates Schott high-transmission glass and extra-low dispersion lenses that are fully multi-coated. Each model in the Toric line provides rifle owners with a constant 4 inches of eye relief, and the first-focal-plane reticles can be illuminated with 11 user-selectable intensity levels, all with an off point in between each setting.

The scopes are designed to stand up to the elements, thanks to their waterproof and fogproof construction. For a crystal-clear sight picture in all conditions, the interiors of the optics are purged with Argon gas.

The suggested retail price on the new Tract Optics Toric 30 mm Long Range Riflescopes is $1,154.
