As pistol-caliber platforms continue to grow in the form of carbine and rifle-based pistols, many companies are stepping up with a host of aftermarket accessories to support these popular designs. One of the latest is SB Tactical, which developed its CZPDW pistol-stabilizing brace for the CZ-USA Scorpion EVO 3 S1 pistol.

“The CZPDW will make the popular CZ Scorpion EVO S1 pistol perform even better,” said Alex Bosco, inventor and CEO of SB Tactical. “The speed and ease of adjustability will allow the shooter to custom fit the perfect point of contact for maximum control and accuracy.”

The platform-specific design of the CZPDW is based on the existing Manticore Arms Scorpion EVO Slider Stock housing, which is machined from 6061 aluminum and treated with a hard-coat anodized finish available in either black or flat dark earth. Providing three-position adjustability, thanks to the company's unique pull-through mechanism, the CZPDW offers pistol owners a third point of contact on either the forearm or the chin, allowing them to better-stabilize the platform for safer, more-accurate shooting.

Shipping as a complete assembly, EVO 3 S1 pistol owners can install the brace in minutes. Other features available on the SB Tactical CZPDW brace include an integrated QD sling-attachment point as well as the hook-and-loop strap that allows the brace to be secured easily to a user's forearm. When fully collapsed, the brace adds just 3.25 inches to the overall length of the pistol. When locked into the mid-point of the brace's extension, the unit measures 7 inches long, expanding out to a length of 9.25 inches when fully extended. Total weight of the brace is 13.1 ounces.

The SB Tactical CZPDW can be had in either black or flat dark earth finishes, and the suggested retail price on the unit is $279.99.
