When the AR pistol revolution exploded in popularity, SB Tactical was at the leading edge of the innovation that made AR pistols much more comfortable and accurate to shoot with its impressive lineup of ever-expanding pistol braces. Now, for 2018, the SB Tactical SBA3 pistol-stabilizing brace promises to push the AR pistol further into the future.

“The SBA3 will prove to be one of our most popular models for the AR pistol market,” said Alex Bosco, inventor and CEO of SB Tactical. “With four adjustment positions, the new SBA3 provides enhanced versatility for any user or situation.”

The SBA3 brace can be used on any standard AR-15 mil-spec carbine receiver extension, the brace is easily adjustable for a customized fit for any AR-pistol owner or user. Including the fully-collapsed position, five different adjustment points are offered by the design, giving owners an unprecedented level of customization never before seen in pistol-brace design.

Pistol-stabilizing braces, originally developed to aid disabled veterans in shooting the AR pistol platform, have developed into a popular addition that makes shooting AR-15 pistols more comfortable, more accurate and safer all round. The brace design achieves this by providing users with a third point of contact, enabling them to further stabilize the gun through contact with the shooter's forearm or chin.

SB Tactical ensures consumers that this design has been fully vetted and approved by the ATF, and the agency certifies that the addition of this adjustable brace to an AR pistol will not alter its classification under NFA laws.

Spec-wise, the SB Tactical SBA3 pistol-stabilizing brace measures in at an overall length of 6.1 inches and weighs only 6.75 ounces. In addition to the brace, buyers will also receive a mil-spec carbine receiver extension and a quick-detach sling-swivel socket. The brace can be had in black and flat dark earth finishes and retails at a suggested price of $169.99.
