With the rollout of the new Glock Gen 5 handguns in the G17 and G19 models, the firearm-accessory world ramped up to provide new fits for the new guns. Crimson Trace is one of the first out of the gate with several accessory options tailor-made to outfit the new Gen 5 handguns with light and laser accessories.

The Crimson Trace Lasergrip is one of the updated offerings from the company's lineup, providing users with a grip-activated laser-aiming system that wraps around the backstrap of the new pistol, providing instant activation once a solid firing grip is attained, ensuring that users have a dependable assisted-aiming device that won't require the use of a specialized holster fit. Options with red and green laser diodes are available, as well as options for both the G17 and G19 Gen 5 pistol models. Suggested retail prices start at $249 for Lasergrip laser sights.

Crimson Trace also offers its Laserguard Pro for the Glock Gen 5 lineup, which combines a laser device with a 150-lumen LED white light, giving users the option for assisted aiming, target illumination or both, depending on the system settings. Like the original Laserguard, the Laserguard Pro is available with both red and green laser options and also features the company's trademarked Instinctive Activation system, which provides a pressure pad beneath the trigger guard that activates the unit once a firing grip is obtained.

All Lasergrip and Laserguard Pro light and laser modules feature master on/off switches, giving users the choice as to whether or not a firing grip automatically activates their built-in setup. The lasers are also adjustable for elevation and windage, ensuring that owners can dial-in their lasers to promote accurate and precise shooting at any distance.

Complete packages are also available for the Glock Gen 5 pistol series, providing owners with light-and-laser packages combined with specially molded carry holsters provided by Blade-Tech. The Lasergrip and Laserguard Pro are also covered under Crimson Trace's Free Batteries for Life promotion, providing replacement batteries whenever necessary for as long as a user owns their product.
