Firefield released a new-and-improved model of its popular Agility red-dot sight for 2017. The company originally released its Agility red-dot lineup in 2013.
Designed for use on the range or while hunting, the Firefield Agility features a 1X magnification and is built on a 30 mm main tube. The tube itself is constructed from lightweight aluminum, providing a durable, compact optic without excess weight added to a rifle or shotgun. Total weight of the red dot is 9.4 ounces.
The Firefield Agility comes chock-full of durability ratings, having been built to withstand fogging and moisture penetration. According to Firefield, the Agility is also rated shockproof for use on calibers up to and including .308 Win. The optic is also parallax-free, ensuring that users won't have to deal with any distortion when taking precision shots.
The Agility red dot operates using a single CR2032 battery, which provides a maximum run time of 440 hours on its lowest setting. When operating on its most visible brightness level, battery life measures in at 12 hours. One battery is included with the optic, along with flip-up caps that protect both the objective and ocular lenses from scratches, dust and water.
The optic is adjustable for windage and elevation and features a total adjustment range of 120 MOA in both fields. Adjustments can be made in increments of 1 MOA. The optic also features a brightness-adjustment knob that includes five different settings. The overall length of the red dot is 4.56 inches, width is 2.44 inches and height is 2.83 inches. The Agility comes equipped with a rail mount that is compatible with both Weaver and Picatinny rail styles.
The Firefield Agility red-dot optic comes in a matte-black finish and is available with four different reticle options. Users can choose red or green reticle choices, depending on their personal preference. The suggested retail price of the Agility red dot is $59.99.
