Savage Arms announced the introduction of a brand-new version of its popular Model 10 rifle: the Model 10 GRS. The new rifle incorporates the flexible GRS stock, designed for customization.

The Savage Model 10 GRS rifle is aimed at the long-range shooting market and is purpose-built to provide precision shooters with top-level accuracy and performance. The GRS stock is constructed from fiberglass-reinforced Durethan and glass-bedding material, designed to improve accuracy.

The stock features slimmer dimensions and an enhanced surface designed to improve grip, allowing shooters to maintain a solid hold on the gun in wet conditions. The stock is adjustable for length of pull and comb height, providing shooters with the tools necessary to customize their rifle fit. The length of pull is adjustable from 13.2 to 14.3 inches.

The heart of the rifle is the Savage barreled action, which uses a fluted heavy barrel and button rifling to produce a gun capable of keeping pace with custom long-range rifles without the added cost.

Other features of the gun include an adjustable Savage AccuTrigger and a 5/8-24 TPI threaded muzzle. The rifle is also compatible with AICS magazines and ships with one 10-round magazine. The stock also features flush-cup sling loops and a sling mount designed for attaching a bipod.

The Savage Arms Model 10 GRS rifle is available in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 24-inch barrel and in .308 Win. in a 20-inch barrel. The suggested retail price on the new gun is $1,449.
