Bear & Son Cutlery added the new Bear Edge manual-folding pocket knife to their product lineup for 2017, offering an inexpensive EDC-carry option for those looking for a high-quality daily-carry knife.

The new Bear Edge knife is the first in the Bear Edge line from the company, aimed at budget-minded users wanting a quality knife that will withstand daily use. The knife uses a 440 stainless-steel blade that can be opened through the use of a thumb stud or a flipper. The knife uses ball bearings to ensure that the blade opens smoothly and reliably every time.

The handle is constructed from G-10 epoxy-resin laminate and incorporates a number of milled features that provide a more ergonomic fit for users. The handle also concealed a hidden liner lock that keeps the blade secured when in use. The knife also features an ambidextrous carry clip that allows for tip-up carry.

With the blade collapsed, the total length of the Bear Edge knife is 4.5 inches. The total weight of the knife is 3.1 ounces. The suggested retail price is $59.99.
