The newest riflescope product line from Leupold is designed to allow hunters and shooters to push the limits of their abilities. The new VX5HD riflescope includes a number of features designed to help owners put rounds on target when needed.

“Every year, more hunters are going beyond their comfort zone to take on ever bigger adventures,” said Tim Lesser, vice president of product development for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “The VX-5HD is designed and built to help these hunters expand their hunts from bigger game to more challenging areas. If you can dream it, the VX-5HD can hunt it.”

The new scopes use the company's innovative Twilight Max light management system in order to provide shooters with the best possible sight picture from early morning until late twilight. The system also works to reduce glare in harsh sunlight.

Another feature of the new scope line is the use of Leupold's CDS-ZL2 adjustments, combined with the company's Custom Dial System. The secure locking dials can be calibrated to a shooter's exact rifle and ammo combination to precisely reflect a gun's ballistic capabilities.

The VX5HD lineup features a 1-5x24 mm, 2-10x42 mm and 3-15x56 mm scope options. All of the line's optics are built on 30 mm tubes. Available reticles include Duplex, FireDot, Wind-Plex, Boone and Crockett Big Game and Impact-29 MOA. The suggested retail prices on the VX5HD line range from $909 to $1,429, depending on magnification and reticle options.
