Stag Arms and Mission First Tactical teamed up in late 2017 to produce the new Stag 15 rifle, the first-ever OEM rifle to be outfitted from the factory with a complete furniture set produced by Mission First Tactical.

“We are very excited to partner with Mission First Tactical and release our new Stag 15 Minimalist Series,” said Rick Bergen, Stag Arms vice president of sales. “Mission First Tactical has proven themselves as one of the premium MSR accessories providers in the industry, and their quality and durability is a superb fit for Stag Arms.”

The Stag Arms Stag 15 rifle is constructed with an upper and lower receiver forged from 7075 aluminum and features a mil-standard hard-coat anodized finish. The rifle is chambered in 5.56 NATO and features a 16-inch, chrome-lined barrel machined from 4150 steel and rifled with a 1:7-inch twist rate. The rifle's action uses a phosphate-finished M16-style bolt-carrier group and operates with a carbine-length gas system topped by a standard A2 front-sight gas block. Other features on the gun include a single-stage mil-spec trigger and an industry-standard A2 flash hider.

All of the furniture used on the Stag Arms Stag 15 rifle is provided by Mission First Tactical, down to the E-VolV trigger guard and 30-round polymer magazine. The rifle is equipped with the company's MFT mil-spec Battlelink Minimalist Stock and is also equipped with the MFT Engage AR-15 pistol grip. Up front, the rifle uses the new MFT Tekko Polymer AR-15 rail, which is compatible with all M-Lok accessory attachments. The front-sight gas block is also matched up with a Mission First Tactical polymer flip-up rear sight.

“Partnering with Stag Arms on this project was a no brainer," MFT Vice President David Edelman said. "Our best-in-class accessories with their innovative MSRs was a natural fusion, creating the durable, ultra-lightweight Stag 15 Minimalist Rifle. We are very happy with the end product and we think our customers will be, too."

Total weight on the new Stag Arms Stag 15 Minimalist rifle is 6.05 pounds. The MSRP on the new gun is $874.99. A left-hand model is also available with a suggested retail price of $919.99.
