New for 2017, Shooting Illustrated announced the launch of its mobile app, allowing content to be delivered straight to a user's phone.

The new app provides direct links to the latest 50 stories on the Shooting Illustrated webpage, giving users access to news on the latest releases in the world of tactical firearms, gear and personal-defense strategies. In addition, the app will also alert users to newly published stories, ensuring that they can stay up-to-date on breaking news from major industry shows, like SHOT Show or the NRA Annual Meetings.

Finally, app users also have access to direct links to Shooting Illustrated's social media platforms, enabling them to join conversations about the news of the day, whether it's related to a new firearm release or the validity of calibers and self-defense tactics.

The app is free and is available for both iPhone and Android devices. Simply search for "Shooting Illustrated" in the App Store or Google Play Store and be the first to get news from the world of tactical guns and gear.
