Savage Arms announced the addition of a new line of B-Series bolt-action rimfire rifles to the company's lineup.

Three chamberings are offered in the new line: .22 LR, .22 WMR and .17 HMR. Each chambering is available in four separate configurations, giving users 12 separate models to choose from in the new line.

The B-Series rifles feature an ergonomic polymer stock with a high comb, tang safety and a target-style pistol grip designed to give shooters a more comfortable shooting position, with less pressure on the wrist. All B-Series rifles come with Savage's adjustable AccuTrigger and a 10-round rotary magazine. The guns also feature button-rifled barrels, and the receivers are drilled and tapped for scope mounts.

The rifles come with 21-inch carbon-steel barrels and measure in at 39 inches in overall length, with a 13.5-inch length-of-pull. Barrel twist rates on the B22 and B22 Magnum are 1:16, while the B17 features a twist rate of 1:9. Weight ranges from 5.44 pounds to 6.22 pounds, depending on the model.

Available models for each chambering include Sporter Barrel, Heavy Barrel, Heavy Threaded and Heavy Stainless. Suggested retail prices in the line range from $281 for the B22 with a sporter barrel to $413 for the B17 with a stainless-steel heavy barrel.
