New Competition SR By Nightforce

The new Competition SR Fixed 4.5x24 riflescope by Nightforce Optics was designed to meet the regulations for Civilian Marksman Program (CMP) and NRA service rifle matches.

The Competition SR Fixed complies with the 2016 rules for CMP and NRA service rifle competitions. It is built on a 30 mm tube, has a 4.5x maximum magnification, objective lens diameter to 34 mm and a combined weight of optic and service rifle to 11.5 pounds.  It provides a 100 MOA of both elevation and windage adjustment in .25 MOA increments, the parallax is fixed at 200 yards and the scope is compact measuring 9.9 inches in length. Regardless of how many elevation adjustments made, the Competition SR Fixed 4.5x24 allows for an instant, positive return to the shooter’s chosen zero setting.

Nightforce Competition riflescopes are engineered to help shooters not just compete, but to win, which is why the SR-1 reticle was added to the Competition. The new, non-illuminated reticle has heavy posts at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, a 10 MOA center circle with an 8 MOA crosshair which will appear visually familiar to iron sight shooters. This comes standard on every Nightfore Competition SR Fixed.

The Competition SR Fixed also features a rugged, lightweight mounting solution designed to provide the preferred “nose-to-charging handle” positioning preferred by service rifle shooters. The Unimount SR will fit any 30 mm riflescope, offering 20 MOA of taper while producing the performance of steel at half the weight.
