There's a healthy discussion out there about whether a free-float handguard contributes to accuracy or not. Supporters make the salient argument that free-float fore-ends have no contact with an AR's barrel, while those that favor standard configurations point out that, especially in carbine-form, the difference in accuracy between the two systems is pretty negligible.

Whether you support the free-float fore-end or the standard D-ring setup, the Mission First Tactical Tekko Free-Float KeyMod Rail System makes an excellent upgrade from your standard equipment. Designed to replace a standard, carbine-length Delta ring system, it brings the KeyMod attachment system and a full-length top rail to your AR-15.

Constructed of 6061 aluminum, the rail offers a full-length Picatinny top rail and KeyMod attachment points at 3'-, 6'- and 9'-o'clock positions. Adding a light, laser, foregrip or other accessory can be done directly using any KeyMod-equipped accessory or with standard rails (also available from Mission First Tactical).

MSRP: $199.99.
