You ever pick up a tool - doesn't matter what kind - and it just *fits*? You know, the "Goldilocks" effect? It's not too big, not too small but just right?

The Steel Will Gekko 1500 series covers a wide range of knife styles, from larger fixed-blade knives to smaller folders. The 1550 series is the "mini" version, although it really should be called the "just right" version. Smaller than the Onrush we reviewed a while back, the Gekko 1551 is just about the ideal size for every day carry.

Add in the G10 scales, ambidextrous pocket clip and lockback blade release, and you realize that not only is the Gekko just the right size, but it has all the features you're looking for in a daily-carry knife. The satin-finish, N690Co-steel 3.5-inch long blade opens easily with a single hand thanks to an ambidextrous thumb stud, and there's even a place for your thumb to rest when performing cutting tasks.

With a weight slightly less than 5 ounces, it won't weigh down your pocket. There's even a lanyard hole you could run some paracord through if you're going to be using the Gekko in an active situation. Well-thought out, well-sized and pretty much just right - that's a great combination in a knife to consider for everyday carry.

MSRP: $199.99.
