Ruger Releases Two New Revolvers

Ruger announced two additions to its lineup of revolvers, adding options in both the Redhawk and GP100 lines of wheelguns.

The new GP100 option is a five-round stainless-steel revolver chambered for the venerable .44 Spl. The gun features a 3-inch fully shrouded barrel and a Hogue Monogrip without finger grooves. The sights consist of a fiber-optic front blade along with a fully adjustable rear sight. Overall length of the new gun is 8.5 inches, while the total weight is 36 ounces. The suggested retail price for the GP100 in .44 Spl. is $829.

The new Ruger Redhawk is a stainless-steel model chambered in .357 Mag. and features an eight-round capacity. The barrel length is 2.75 inches, while the frame features a rounded butt with hardwood grips. An unfluted cylinder includes a recessed ejector that allows shooters to reload the gun quickly with the help of full moon clips.

The gun features a ramped front sight with an adjustable rear sight. The overall length of the Redhawk .357 Mag. is 8.25 inches, while the total weight is 44 ounces. The suggested retail price on the new Redhawk is $1,079.
