MasterPiece Arms introduced its Compact Suppressor-Ready Rifle designed to give users an accurate bolt-action tactical rifle that collapses down for easy carry and storage.

“Our new MPA BA CSR Rifle packs a lot of punch in a small, lightweight package," said Phil Cashin, president of MasterPiece Arms. "It’s extremely accurate and suppressor ready. Speaking of suppressor ready, we think our customers are really going to like the buttstock on this rifle. I don’t think there’s anything else quite like it."

The CSR features a folding buttstock that is designed to hold a suppressor up to 1.5 inches in diameter and 9.5 inches in length. This allows the entire platform to break down from an overall length of 48 inches with a suppressor attached to 27 inches with the suppressor stored and the buttstock folded down.

The MPA CSR is available in .308 Win. and 6.5 Creedmoor and features custom throating for caliber-specific match-grade ammo. The rifle is built on a Remington 700-style action from Kelbly's Atlas Tactical and features a 416RQ stainless steel hand-lapped barrel available in either 16-inch or 20-inch lengths. Twist rate for .308 Win. barrels are 1:10, while 6.5 Creedmoor barrels feature a 1:8 twist.

The chassis is a proprietary design from MasterPiece Arms, while the Trigger Tech trigger is available with a 1- to 3-pound pull weight. The chassis is designed to take Accuracy International magazines. A 5-round magazine is included with the rifle. Total weight of the rifle is 8.6 pounds.

The MPA CSR comes with a Cerakote finish with color options in black, burnt bronze, flat dark earth, gunmetal and tungsten. Custom finishes are available with a $150 upcharge. The suggested retail price on the CSR is $2,999.
