The new variable-output LED 2211 WristLight from SureFire is a solution for those who prefer to keep their hands free in any number of low-light situations, including the use of a handgun.

The company's WristLight is designed to automatically align with a handgun when strapped to a user's support-side wrist. When using a two-handed grip on a handgun, wearers can use the WristLight for instant threat identification at close-to-medium ranges while still maintaining control of their firearm.

The WristLight features a polymer body and an adjustable Nylon wristband and weighs just 2.3 ounces, including the battery. The light is powered by a lithium-ion battery that provides a total run time of one hour on the light's highest setting. The light features three different settings: a low-power 15-lumen, medium 60-lumen and a high 300-lumen setting. Users can customize the output sequence to fit their personal needs.

The WristLight even works with an optional conversion headstrap, allowing users to transform the light into a headlamp. The light includes a micro-USB cable for charging and features an integral LED fuel gauge to keep track of battery life. The SureFire 2211 WristLight retails at a suggested price of $229.
