The M&P M.A.G.I.C. MP6 knife from Smith & Wesson is a tactical combat folding knife that features a tanto-style blade and a pocket clip for tip-up carry. M.A.G.I.C. is an acronym that describes the construction of the knife as Multipurpose Assisted Generational Innovative Cutlery.

The innovation is found in the assisted open device included with the knife. An internal spring allows the blade to pop open with a simple lever pull or a slight push up on the thumb stud found on the blade. According to the company, the assisted opening mechanism is one of the easiest single-handed opening systems on the market today.

The overall length of the knife is 7.7 inches with a 3.4-inch blade. The blade itself is constructed from 4034 stainless steel that features normal serrations and a blackened finish. The handle is made from aluminum finished in a champagne color with black inlays. Total weight of the M.A.G.I.C. MP6 is 5.5 ounces. When open, the blade features a liner lock that must be pushed out of the way in order to close the knife. The MP6 also features a locking mechanism that secures the blade in place.

The Smith & Wesson M&P M.A.G.I.C. MP6 knife retails at a suggested price of $64.
