Using a proprietary blend of copper and polymer, the PolyCase 380 ACP also has the company's custom bullet design.
PolyCase now offers the ARX in .380 ACP, recognizing the smaller round can benefit from the lighter bullet weight in the form of increased velocity. Claimed velocities from the 56-grain bullet approach those of standard 9 mm, with more than 1,150 fps achieved.
The unique shape of the ARX bullet should feed well in most small semi-automatics, as there is no sharp point or steep ogive to catch on feed ramps.
