NRA Publications is pleased to announce the addition of a new category to its 2015 Golden Bullseye Awards lineup, the "Women's Innovation Awards" from American Rifleman, American Hunter and Shooting Illustrated magazines.

In recognizing that women comprise the fastest-growing demographic served by the shooting sports and outdoor industries, NRA Publications has chosen to acknowledge outstanding industry leaders in the emerging area of women's shooting and hunting products.

"The Golden Bullseye Awards reflect what NRA members want in firearms, ammunition and related equipment—outstanding performance, innovative design and value. In short, they identify the very best the shooting and hunting industry has to offer," said NRA Publications Executive Director Doug Hamlin. "The editors and other staffers who make up the Golden Bullseye Awards Committee are encouraged and optimistic that among the many exemplary new products introduced over the past year are a growing number geared specifically toward women."

To qualify for consideration for a Women's Innovation Golden Bullseye Award, the product must have been: recently introduced and available prior to the selection of the Golden Bullseye Awards; used/tested by a staff member or regular contributor to the magazine and/or affiliated media; reliable in the field, meeting or exceeding the evaluator's expectations; innovative in design and function, specifically as it pertains to women's interests; readily perceived as a value to the purchaser; and styled in a manner befitting the shooting and hunting industry and, perhaps more importantly, its female enthusiasts.

NRA Publications will present the first-ever American Rifleman, American Hunter and Shooting Illustrated Women's Innovation Golden Bullseye Awards, at an annual invitation-only breakfast during the 2015 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Nashville, Tennessee, on April 10, 2015.
