CrossBreed Revolver Ankle Holster

CrossBreed Revolver Ankle Holster

Whether you subscribe to the "two is one" theory and prefer to carry a backup firearm or you're looking for deep concealment, ankle holsters offer a prime way to hide a smaller gun in (almost) plain sight.

CrossBreed's recently introduced Revolver Ankle Holster remedies one of the prime complaints of ankle-holster-carry, that of the holster slowly sliding down the leg until it rests on the ankle. For starters, there are two separate levels of hook-and-loop attachment at the holster level: One large padded band wraps tightly (and comfortably) around your ankle, while a second, thinner band tightens on top of the large band.

Additionally, there's an above-the-calf strap that tightens over your calf to prevent the holster from moving once it's secured where you prefer it. Add in a retention strap that fits across the back of the revolver, and your security is itself secure no matter what your activity level may be during the day.

Having had a chance to try out the Revolver Ankle holster, it does indeed live up to the claims. An entire day with a 15 ounce revolver was entirely comfortable, with a mixture of driving, walking, sitting and even a short power walk at lunch time. It's a great way to hide a secondary pistol, and CrossBreed's Revolver Ankle holster lends comfort to the equation.

MSRP: $49.95. Available in left- and right-hand versions.
