And if comfort is key, D-rings have been added on the back so shooters can harness the comfort of the provided backpack straps for longer hauls.

The new-for-2012 Drag Bags are available in OD Green and come in two sizes: 52x12x3 inches; and 62x15x3 inches. Both are constructed of 1000 Denier nylon for long-term abrasion resistance and feature wraparound handles, a drag handle and padded backpack straps (giving shooters a variety of carry options). Keeping a phone or other critical smaller gear close at hand is easy, since the backpack straps also have a hidden pocket.

There are three acccessory pockets. One measures 23x9x2inches and another spans 11.5x10x2 inches. The third is 11.5x10 inches.

To avoid crown damage during transport, a protective hood minimizes the chances of bumps doing any permanent damage. A snapped flap also protects the zipper from the elements.

Rifles are secured by an internal webbing system with adjustable straps and there aretwointerior pockets. An accessory pocket inside measures 13x5x1 inches and a cleaning rod pocket (43 inches long on the smaller version and 48 inches in length on the larger model).

If you're in the market for a quality drag bag—one that's as versatile as it is functional—take a close look at this new US PeaceKeepers offering.
