This .32 H&R Mag. load from Buffalo Bore is not the fastest .32 Magnum load on the market, but the 100-grain Hornady XTP bullet will consistently penetrate beyond 18 inches while expanding to about 1.3 times its original diameter. This is not wide expansion, but penetration is deeper than any previously tested .32 H&R Mag. JHP load. The load was tested in a 3-inch-barreled Ruger SP101 chambered for the .327 Fed. Mag. Obviously, more potent loads in .327 Fed. Mag. are available for this revolver, but with that potency comes more intense recoil and muzzle blast. This Buffalo Bore load would be a good choice for those wanting to increase the effectiveness of their .32 H&R or for those looking for less recoil from a .327 Fed. Mag.
