My good friend and fellow hillbilly Michael Cyrus does all the ammunition development for LeHigh Defense. One of the unique products the company offers is a multi-projectile .45 ACP load. The tested sample was a prototype, 230-grain load with a leading projectile followed up with two projectiles that look like a witch's hat. At 5 yards, you'll see three separate holes in the target, spaced between 1 and 2 inches apart. As the distance to the target increases, so does the spread. In gelatin blocks, penetration ranged between 8 and 18 inches. This is indeed an interesting approach to terminal performance.
