Folks are buying compact .380 ACP handguns like lottery tickets. It's understandable—modern .380 semi-automatics are compact, lightweight and easy to carry in almost any attire. The question is, what is a good and reliable carry load for these little guns? Remington's Golden Saber bullet is popular with law enforcement agencies in 9 mm, .40 S&W and .45 ACP because of its ability to stay together, expand and penetrate after passing through barriers. The company's 102-grain .380 ACP load seems to follow suit, showing good expansion and penetration in bare gelatin.
