If you're looking for excitement, shoot a small, 10-percent ordnance gelatin block or milk jug full of water with the Federal 125-grain JHP, .357 Mag. load. It is the definition of destruction. The bullet burst the first gelatin block and penetrated a total of 14 inches. This is one of the most devastating handgun loads I've ever tested in 10-percent gelatin. It's also a load that requires a firm grip on the handgun, especially if your gun is a compact revolver with a short barrel.
