At long last, my package arrived last week containing my carbine barrel with its newly affixed handguard and removable dummy suppressor. The components are superb aluminum duplicates of Brad's parts.

The contents also contained one of Steve L'Italian's stocks, which Joe completed for me. While the stock reflected the same level of quality as the handguard and suppressor, there was a problem. The outer tube of the stock did not contain the secondary notch enabling a 1/4 turn, which prevents it from collapsing during shooting. As expected, the absence was an oversight on Joe's part and he promised a rapid turn around once he receives it. (I'll be sending the stock back to him tomorrow).

In the interim, I plan on function testing the carbine barrel with its accoutrements, now that maintenance has been completed on the NRA range and Section 2 of U.N.C.L.E. Headquarters New York has completed its investigation and deemed it clear of T.H.R.U.S.H agents.

Therefore, it's lock and load this week (workload permitting). Check back for the results, photos and a range report.
