In an effort to use the various plastic parts I've brought from Brad over the past year, I bought a Maruzen Airsoft P38 off eBay over the weekend with the intention of building a cool display piece for my office. Working for the NRA, I doubt my co-workers will object.

On a different note, last week I received a call from one of my gunsmiths, who informed me he was close to completing the "S" designated (pistol variant) of my U.N.C.L.E. Special. It had some pitting I wanted removed. After which, he refinished the gun—matching the original arsenal finish while taking care to preserve the gun's Nazi proofmarks. Besides refinishing, he also sent the aluminum U.N.C.L.E. grips to a plating company for anodizing. They're due in this week. So, if everything goes as planned, one out of two pistols should be completed by week's end. Naturally, photos will follow.
