Nikon's M-223 is a great optic for those looking to reach out a little farther with their AR-15s or shoot with greater speed and accuracy at close range. What's more, it won't break the bank, with models starting at $289.95.  The 1-4x20 mm scope is available with the company's Point Blank reticle, which has thick outer posts combined with a large center dot that provides an instant aiming point on targets out to 200 yards. The 2-8x32 mm M-223 is available with Nikon's BDC-600 reticle, which provides multiple, ballistically correct holdover points out to 600 yards. Best of all, Nikon is running a great deal on the M-223 until May 31, 2011.
