New for 2019: Bergara B14 R

posted on November 20, 2019

Bergara Rifles released its new B14 R .22 LR rifle in late 2019, designed with the precision shooter in mind. This new rifle is conceived as a true rimfire training rifle that is similar to the dimensions of a rifle built on the Remington 700 platform. This similarity allows shooters to have a familiar size and feel to their centerfire rifle but be able to use less-expensive rimfire ammunition for practice. The B14 R can even be set up using compatible stocks, bases and triggers which are compatible with the Remington 700 to serve as a clone to a centerfire rifle for training or precision rimfire competitions.

“The Bergara B14 R .22 LR is the latest offering in their ever-popular B14 series of rifles,” Ben Fleming VP of Sales for Bergara states. “Our team has been working on a very accurate full size .22 LR precision trainer for several years now with a goal to help set the bar with the .22 shooters. With this gun we are confident that it will help long range .22 shooting grow for years to come.”

“Our customers have been requesting a gun like this for some time," said Dakota Russell, Bergara national sales manager. "And with the growing NRL22 and PRS .22 competition matches, the timing was right to introduce a rifle of this nature.”

The Bergara B14 R gives shooters a perfect platform to customize their rifle with all manner of readily available Remington 700 accessories. The rifle uses a single stack .22 LR mag that is built to the same dimensions as a standard short action AICS mag, allowing for even more familiarity with your larger rifle .

The new Bergara B14 R brings Bergara’s legendary accuracy into the growing world of precision rimfire shooting, allowing shooters to practice their disciplines at a more affordable price and in areas where longer ranges may not be available.
