John Moses Browning’s venerable single-action semi-auto has has over a century of evolution and is still standing strong. The gun that beat the Savage Model 1907 to become the US Military’s M1911 is now being given the Savage treatment, with twelve different models, chambered in your choice of 9mm or 45 ACP.

All the models in the Savage 1911 line are built from stainless steel and have a dual recoil spring with a machined sear and disconnector. The look of the Savage 1911 pays homage to the original, the Savage 1911 is built for hard use. From its nitride coated titanium firing pin, to the target crown on the barrel, this 1911 delivers accuracy and reliability.

The Savage 1911 line offers your choice of two-tone, black Melonite and stainless steel finishes on the pistols. In addition to this, each model is available with either a Government-style dust cover or a short section of rail in front of the trigger guard that allows you to attach a light, laser or other accessory to your pistol.

  • 5-inch stainless steel barrel, machined from billet with an 11-degree target crown
  • Dual recoil springs with a fully machined sear and hammer
  • Ejection port is lowered, flared, and cut for live round ejection

  • Novak Lo-Mount adjustable tritium bar rear sight and tritium Mega Dot Glow Dome yellow front sight. (Rail & two-tone versions)
