The new R7 Mako is a distinct change from Kimber. The R7 Mako is a micro-sized 9 mm pistol with one 12-round, flush-fit standard capacity magazine and one 14-round extended capacity magazine. It's unlike anything else you've seen from Kimber. In addition to this, the R7 Mako has an option for a pre-installed Crimson Trace CTS-1500 reflex sight, and other sights which fit the Shield pattern RMSc footprint will fit on either the optics-ready or optics-installed models. There are also tritium night sights with Glock-cut dovetail that co-witness with a mounted optic. Topping things off is the Mako's Performance Carry Trigger, which gives you a smooth, consistent, short pull and clean, crisp break.

A great new gun needs a great holster, and that's where DeSantis holsters come in. DeSantis has been developing, designing, and manufacturing the very best gun holsters for nearly five decades. They pride themselves on using premium hides available  and the tough, rugged synthetics for their holsters and accessories. Now their tried and tested Mini Scabbard holster is available to fit the Kimber Mako R7.

This unique leather holster has been reduced to just the barest of essentials, yet it still offers you the ability to get a secure grip on the handgun, thanks to its exact molding and adjustable tension device. The Mini Scabbard will accommodate belts up to 1 3/4 inches wide and is available in black or tan unlined leather. With the Mini Scabbard's tough construction and customizable tension device, your gun is easily accessed when it's needed, while the minimal design and precise gun fit keeps your sidearm safe from watchful eyes.

MSRP for the Mini Scabbard holster for the Kimber Mako R7 is $63.99, and more information on this holster and other gear from DeSantis is available at desantisholster.com.
