Smith & Wesson rolled out a Performance-Center-tuned Model 686 revolver for 2018, giving consumers a tried-and-true revolver platform chambered in the venerable .357 Mag. that's ready for competition use right out of the box.

The revolver features a specially tuned trigger that provides a crisp single-action trigger pull measuring about 3 pounds. The gun also provides a smooth, stack-free double-action trigger pull that measures in at a consistent 10 pounds. Other features on this tuned wheelgun include a replaceable front-sight blade and is set up for quick reloading with cuts for full moon clips.
