The launch of the Ruger LCP II brought an all-new pocket pistol design to consumers, and the micro-size handgun exploded in popularity throughout 2017. Now, Ruger expanded its lineup with the new Security-9, offering a scaled-up, double-stack, 9 mm version of the company's popular LCP II for 2018.

The Security-9 shares many of the same external and internal features as the LCP, including the comfortable grip texturing and tactile slide serrations. Inside, the company replicated its single-action-style trigger setup to give users a crisp, clean trigger pull for enhanced accuracy.
