Two new reticle options are available from Meopta in 2017, both of which feature an illuminated red dot and a bullet-drop compensation holdover marks.

The BDC-2 and the BDC-3 reticles are both designed to work with second focal plane scopes. Because of this, using the holdover points requires the user to be on a specific power setting that varies, depending on the scope model.

The BDC-2 reticle provides holdover points out to 800 yards, while the BDC-3 reticle give shooters holdover points up to 500 yards. The BDC-3 reticle, on the right pictured above, also gives users windage-correction points that align with a 10-mph crosswind along the major yardage lines.

Both reticles are now available in the company's MeoStar R2 1-6x24 RD and the MeoStar R1r 3-12x56 scope lines. The suggested retail price for the MeoStar R2 is $1,954.99, while the MeoStar R1r retails at a suggested price of $1,494.99.
