Primary Arms Optics has just launched a new slide-mounted, multi-reticle electronic red-dot sight, the GLx RS-15. This new model is Primary Arms’ first unit to be designed with the well-known ACSS Vulcan reticle design. The new GLx RS-15 uses the C-More optics footprint and runs off a single CR2032 battery. As part of the GLx series, this red dot is part of Primary Arms Optics’ middle-tier product line offering customers a good balance of performance and price.

"We are excited to release GLx RS-15, our first ground-up design to feature the ACSS Vulcan reticle," says Stephen Morgan, Director of Product Marketing at Primary Arms Optics. "The large window, top-loading battery and Vulcan reticle make it the perfect optic for range, carry, and competition."

The ACSS Vulcan reticle is one of the more interesting reticles found on slide-mounted electronic red-dot sights to date. At the center of the reticle is an aiming chevron not unlike what’s found in many other modern optics. However, this aiming chevron is surrounded by a massive 250-MOA circle. This large circle is projected onto the reflex lens in such a way that it cannot be seen when the eyes are correctly lined up with the aiming chevron. The circle is only visible when the optic isn’t lined up directly with the eyes. This way it serves as a guide and corrective measure for proper slide-mounted red-dot-sight alignment. For example, if the shooter extends their pistol with the GLx RS-15 and only sees a “leftward” arc instead of the chevron, it means that their muzzle is angled too far to the right and they need to bring it back to the left to find the chevron again. The same is true for seeing the right side of the arc or the top or bottom.

The GLx RS-15 with ACSS Vulcan dot reticle is available now from Primary Arms with an MSRP of $359.99. Please visit primaryarms.com to learn more.
