In that time, some incredible triggers have been designed and built by constantly looking for innovative ways to improve our products and by listening to our customers. For 2102, Timney proudly announces the next generation of replacement triggers - the drop-in trigger for the SCAR 16 series of rifles.

The self-contained, 100% drop-in unit is ready to install in your SCAR 16 rifle for an exceptionally smooth, crisp, single-stage trigger pull. No gunsmithing, fitting, or adjusting required. The lightweight, 6061 T6 alloy housing is anodized for superior durability. The hammer is EDM machined from S7 tool steel that combines hardness to resist wear with superior impact resistance and is Teflon-nickel plated for greatly enhanced lubricity. Other components are EDM cut from A2 tool steel, then heat treated to Rc 56-60 for a long service life.

The Timney SCAR trigger (Model 690) retails for $319.95 and features a factory-set pull weight of 3 pounds.

Timney Triggers is dedicated to ensuring our customers a lifetime of hassle free shooting enjoyment. That is evident in the last step of the manufacturing process, when each trigger is hand assembled, tested, and calibrated for the specific rifle model it is intended for before it's delivered to the customer's door. Timney Triggers is proud to offer a lifetime warranty on all of their products and each trigger is proudly Made in the USA.
