LaserLyte has an extensive array of laser-training products available. From the company's laser training pistols (full-size and compact) to targets, it offers something for everyone—except the snub-nose revolver enthusiast.

LaserLyte has rectified that shortcoming with the LT-PRE Laser Training Premium laser insert. Designed to function with barrels as small as 1.85 inches (the typical snubby barrel is 1 7/8-inches, or 1.875 inches), the LT-PRE uses a captured plastic adapter to adjust for caliber fit. From .380 ACP to .45 ACP, the LT-PRE will fit your defensive handgun.

Training with a laser device like the LT-PRE has numerous advantages. First and foremost, you can use your own firearm to practice the perfect trigger pull. Since it's the same firearm you'll be relying on for self-defense, every practice session helps familiarize you with your pistol's manual-of-arms. And, lastly, the unit costs about what 3-4 boxes of practice ammunition costs, yet the run time on a single set of batteries is more than ten times that amount (3,000 "shots" compared to 150-200 rounds).

MSRP: $120.95.
