More than 76,000 concealed-carry licenses were issued in the Buckeye State last year, the largest number since licenses were first issued in 2004.
The Buckeye state has seen unprecedented increases in Concealed Handgun License in 2013, eclipsing all previous years since permits were first issued nearly a decade ago.
While in excess of 40 percent more permits to carry concealed handguns for personal protection in Ohio were issued during the first quarter of 2012 than during the same period in 2010, Buckeyes still have some catching up to do with their neighbors.
