First Look: MTM 3-Can .50-Caliber Ammo Crate

In business since 1968, MTM Case-Gard is celebrating half a century of providing shooting accessories to enthusiasts across the country. Continuing their tradition of providing helpful organization, storage and transport cases for guns and ammo, the company released its all-new 3-Can .50-Cal Ammo Crate in 2018.

Designed for bulk movement and storage of shooting supplies and ammunition, the crate ships with three polypropylene ammo cans that are molded with a dark-earth color and feature O-ring seals that provide a water-resistant storage option and protects the internal compartment from harsh, damp weather conditions. Each of the cases measure 11 inches x 5.8 inches x 7.2 inches internally, providing room for all kinds of ammunition and other supplies, from batteries, food, survival gear, medical equipment, tools and more.

Each crate is equipped with a dual-latching system designed to promote a tight, secure seal. Each crate is equipped with holes for padlocks if users desire an added level of security for their gear. The design of the crates also allows them to be stacked solidly, thanks to molded corners designed to interlock with other ammo crates of the same design. Each crate is designed with a built-in carry handle and can hold up to 30 pounds of gear. The cans are not designed to be submerged in water.

With the 3-Can .50-Cal Ammo Crate, users also receive a ruggedized polypropylene crate, and all three ammo cans are designed to nest securely inside the crate, providing a rigid, secure storage and transport solution. The crate includes carry handles on either end and tie-down points designed specifically for use on ATVs, allowing hunters and shooters to get into the field quickly with all of their gear in a ready-made setup. The carry crate is molded with an army-green color.

Each MTM Case-Gard 3-Can .50-Cal Ammo Crate is made completely in the USA and retail at a suggested price of $44.49.
