Contributing to the growing market for firearms suppressors, Alpha Dog Silencers announced the introduction of a novel suppressor concept: a fully-indexable design that includes a Picatinny rail for accessory attachments and allows for interchangeable pistons.

“With our introduction of the Alpha Series, we worked hard to solve the problems that exist in the market," said Chris Bollin, COO of Alpha Dog Silencers. "We wanted to help new and experience shooters by providing native sights on our suppressor and also allow for the addition of their preferred accessory. If it will fit a Picatinny rail it will fit our suppressor."

Two Alpha Dog pistol suppressors are available, one in 9 mm and one in .45 ACP. The Alpha 9 features a total length of 7.5 inches with an overall weight of 10.2 ounces. Exterior diameter is 1.65 inches, and the suppressor is rated for 9 mm and .22 LR.

The Alpha 45 features an overall length of 8.25 inches and a total weight of 10.6 ounces. Exterior diameter is 1.65 inches, and the suppressor is rated for .45 ACP, .40 S&W, 9 mm and .22 LR.

Both options feature a hard-coat anodized finish and both retail at a suggested price of $775, including the piston.
