Daniel Defense announced it has added the Kryptek Typhon pattern to its best-selling DDM4 MK12 and V11 rifles.

The Daniel Defense MK12, which features an 18-inch stainless steel barrel and rifle-length gas system, and the V11, which features a 16-inch chrome moly vanadium steel barrel and mid-length gas system, are now both offered in the Kryptek Typhon finish. The water-transfer printing process (also known as hydro-graphics) of this finish makes for a durable, uniform coating that holds up to and resists even the harshest environments.

“We are excited to offer these new intricate and highly durable patterns on these best-selling rifles,” said Marty Daniel, president and CEO of Daniel Defense. “The new Typhon finish will enhance both the look and performance of two weapon systems already renowned for durability, reliability, and performance.”

Kryptek utilizes a multi-directional design to effectively conceal in a multitude of terrains that have lateral or vertical flows. The bi-level layering of the patterns incorporates background transitional shading and sharp random geometrical foregrounds to create a three-dimensional effect, ensuring the utmost in concealment at both close and long ranges. These components, combined with colorations selected and matched based on input from testing and observations from operators in the field, make Kryptek patterns optimal for many different environments.

The DDM4 MK12 Typhon and DDM4 V11 Typhon are available for purchase from authorized Daniel Defense dealers or directly from Daniel Defense. MSRP for the MK12 Typhon is $2049. The V11 Typhon retails for $1649.
