When we heard the news about the new 600 lumen flashlight available from ExtremeBeam, we knew this was something we needed to investigate further.

ExtremeBeam's M600 Fusion hand-held flashlight offers four distinct settings—high, medium, low and strobe—and is impact-, water- and weather-resistant. On the highest setting, the 600 lumen beam can be seen for a distance of up to 330 meters. Run times vary from a full 24 hours on low power to 6 hours on high, and the M600 is powered by 2 CR123 batteries.

While the M600 is a little too large for everyday carry, it is well-suited for home or car. Running on long-lasting CR123 batteries it can take long periods of inactivity and still be ready to shine brightly. Additionally, the beam is adjustable between a focused beam and a bright spread. Constructed of aerospace-grade aluminum and featuring ExtremeBeam's "micro-textured" grip, it is easy to handle. The head contains a heat sink for more efficient distribution of the considerable heat generated by a high intensity flashlight.

MSRP: $129.95.
