Vickers Tactical Magazine Floor Plates

Vickers Tactical Magazine Floor Plates

Let's be honest. You don't think too much about the floor plates on your magazine, do you? Not a lot of us do—until they break, that is.

Enter the Vickers Tactical floor plate, available through TangoDown. Constructed of glass-filled nylon for greater resistance to impact, these floor plates replace the existing factory ones in your Gen 2 or higher Glock magazines. With a flared edge designed for rapid extraction under the toughest of circumstances and molded dimples on the bottom to facilitate differentiation between magazines, it's a quick and inexpensive upgrade for the often neglected feeding device vital to your defensive sidearm.

Available in black, tan, orange or blue, these floor plates come in packages of five with an MSRP of $18.50 (black) or $21.50 (colors). Assuming you can get the factory floor plate off (I had a little bit of trouble. Don't ask...), it's an upgrade that takes seconds to perform, costs a few dollars and adds quite a bit of utility to an often overlooked—but essential—part of your gear.
