It's not every day we get items that were just introduced! Crimson Trace has come out with a Laserguard for the new Glock model 42 in .380 ACP.

In keeping with the rest of the Laserguard family, the unit installs over the trigger guard and is activated by the middle finger of the shooting hand as part of the natural grip. The laser's thin profile matches the pistol, and is adjustable for windage and elevation. The unit comes sighted at 50 feet from the factory.

With a wide variety of holsters available for other similarly-sized handguns with the Laserguard, it's only a matter of time before a plethora of carry options are released for this combination. Between the warm reception the diminutive Glock received and the depth of Crimson Trace's inventory, holsters should be available shortly from a number of manufacturers. CrossBreed Holsters has confirmed the company will be collaborating with Crimson Trace to provide holsters for this combination.
