My G17 is a very reliable pistol. 3rd Gen, with a 3.5 connector. This pistol is a modern miracle.

I'm currently working on a stingray holster for a very similar custom pistol with an RMR. Good times will be had by all!

I'm working on the next iteration of this gun right now, which uses a battery-free Trijicon RMR instead of the Burris, and that one I would ABSOLUTELY carry.

Caleb, will/would you carry this for self defense? You pointed out the rail mounted laser would make off the shelf holsters tricky, but the number of folks out there doing top notch full or semi custom holster make that feasible. I guess the real question is do you feel that this technology is debugged enough that you would be comfortable depending on it personally?

I'd guess you are right about PDs adopting red dot pistol optics in the near future, but I'm not entirely sure if we are there yet.
